Terms and Conditions
Col-lec-tion is a small two woman company that wishes to help you 'send some shoes' and we like to keep it simple. We are Dutch controle freaks that aim to deliver high quality to happy customers, so we try to adhere to this in everything we do. From this point of view, general terms and conditions are superfluous in our view.

1. Definitions
1.1 Buyer: the natural person who is not acting for purposes related to his trade, business, craft or professional activity;
1.2 Day: calendar day;
1.3 Custom product: products that are made on request and in consultation with the buyer.

3. Applicability
3.1 The general terms and conditions apply to all offers and agreements concluded at a distance with regard to online orders via Col-lec-tion.com. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, the applicability of other general terms and conditions is expressly excluded.
3.2 The buyer declares that he / she is aware of the content of the (privacy statement) and agrees with the way in which Col-lec-tion processes his / her personal data. Col-lec-tion will use the personal data carefully on the basis of the Protection Act. The personal data will only be used for the implementation of the distance contract. Personal data will not be provided to third parties.
4. Agreements
4.1 An agreement is concluded after acceptance by the customer of the offer on the website. The acceptance is confirmed by means of a confirmation email.
4.2 Col-lec-tion can refuse special orders, for example if they are of a discriminatory nature. If an order is refused, the customer will be notified by email.
5. Prices and payment
5.1 Prices on Col-lec-tion.com are expressed in euros. The prices are inclusive of VAT and other government levies and exclusive of shipping and handling costs unless stated otherwise.
5.2 The buyer must pay the order in full in advance, failing which no purchase agreement will be concluded. Payment is made through the payment options offered.
5.3 Col-lec-tion cannot be held to price statements that are incorrect, for example as a result of printing errors. No rights can be derived from unlawful price information.
5. Shipping costs.
We aim to keep the shipping costs as low as possible. Current rates can be found on our Delivery Policy page.
6. Delivery
6.1 Col-lec-tion undertakes towards the buyer to properly package the products in such a way that they reach their destination in good condition during normal transport.
6.2 The order is usually immediately available from stock and will be delivered to the buyer as soon as possible within the intended delivery period of 3 to 4 working days, or the order is delayed for other reasons. The customer will be notified by e-mail no later than 7 days after placing the order. Custom made products can have a longer delivery period. Col-lec-tion will make an estimate in advance.
6.3 If a delivery period of 30 days after the order is exceeded, the buyer has the right to a refund of the purchase price of the order, including the paid shipping costs.
6.4 The order will be delivered to the address as indicated by the buyer when placing the order.
7. Return policy and complaints
We always try to send your products in perfect condition. However, occasionally, a problem can arise. In the unlikely event that a product is faulty, or it is damaged in delivery or is the wrong item, we ask you to contact us, within 5 working days of the receiving date at liza@virtualshoemuseum.com, to let us know of the problem as soon as possible. We will then advise you on whether you are eligible for a refund or replacement.
8. Guarantee
8.1 The products that Col-lec-tion supplies must comply with the description as stated in the webshop.
8.2 In the event that a product does not meet the expectations of the buyer, she/he must contact Col-lec-tion by e-mail within 7 days after receipt of the product.
8.3 Col-lec-tion is not liable for defects on the products in the case of incorrect use.
8.4 Col-lec-tion is not liable for defects or damage caused by postal delivery.
9. Intellectual property rights
The buyer is not permitted to use the intellectual property rights in the broadest sense of the word without prior permission from Col-lec-tion (for example by copying images or texts or using product photos).
10. Liability
The fact that Col-lec-tion is very fast with regard to a clear display of the prices, a correct description, requirements and quality of the products displayed in the Col-lec-tion webshop, Col-lec-tion is not liable for errors, inaccuracies or imperfections on its website and / or confirmation email. Col-lec-tion reserves the right to rectify these errors, inaccuracies or imperfections at any time.
11. Withdrawal
11.1 In the case of a distance purchase, the buyer has the right to cancel the distance purchase within 5 working days after receipt of the order without giving any reason.
11.2 Dissolution of the distance purchase will only take place by e-mail, whereby this message must be received within the aforementioned period.
11.3 In the event of dissolution, Col-lec-tion will refund the purchase price paid by the buyer, subject to any shipping costs paid, within 14 days of receipt of the returned order, provided and as soon as the returned order has been returned free of defects and damage.
11.4 The right of withdrawal does not apply to customized products.
11.5 The right of withdrawal lapses if all conditions of Article 11 are not fully met. In the latter case, the return will be considered a return in accordance with article 7 of the general terms and conditions.
12. Applicable law
12.1 Dutch law is applicable to the general terms and conditions as well as the concluded distance contracts and the disputes arising therefrom between Col-lec-tion and the buyer. These can be sent in pdf at the request of the buyer.
